Issues with IK Arm movement

Hi, I’m new to these forums, i’ve been using blender for a while but am still pretty new to it all.

My problem is that the arm for my character moves in a funny way after it passes a certain point on the z axis. It was working fine for ages, but I think I must have accidentally pressed something while working on something else and didn’t notice it for a while.

Here is an example:
It should be like this, this is how it bent before, but it is only like this when it is above this point:

Anywhere below that point, it bends like this, which isn’t what I want it to do

I don’t know what is causing this, please help.
Thank you.

Its hard to tell without more info.
I notice you dont have a pole target for the IK constraint (I may be wrong).
Also there seems to be 2 different bone constraints on the arm.
I guess the later one the IK constraint, I dont know what the other one is, but that may be causing the problem.

Thanks for the reply although I have fixed it now, I don’t know what went wrong, but I removed the IK, bent the arm slight in the direction I wanted, and reapplied the IK, It’s working fine now.
Thanks
