I've created a huge collection of compositing effects

Hello everyone! This is my first time posting on this forum after lurking on it from time to time for years, so I hope I chose the right category and tags etc.

I ended up writing way too much, so if you just want to see the pack in action and the download links, here it is:

What I want to share with you is my collection of node-groups for Blenders Compositor!
The Compositor is very powerful and capable of achieving a lot of different things. And when Blender 4.5 added procedural textures and input-sockets to pretty much every existing compositing node, it reached a whole new level.

But beginners will probably not be able to make use of it. And even a lot of intermediate and advanced Blender-users, have probably adapted their workflow to include other software like fusion, after effects or nuke for compositing.
I’ve always been a fan of making node-groups inside the compositor and I know this probably sounds a bit cheesy or like I’m just making this up to have a nice story that fits the collection I’ve made lol
But Blenders Compositor was actually the first time I was using something node-based, even before shader nodes as I was using the Blender Internal Render instead of Cycles back then, when I only was like 12-13. And discovering stuff like making a vignette by using an ellipse mask with blur as the factor input of a Mix node, seemed like the smartest thing ever to me back then.
Well, I think I’ve went a long way as nowadays I was able to put these node-groups together including basic tools like Vibrance, Clarity, etc. but also complex effects like VHS emulation.
The thing is, again I know it sounds cheesy, the whole creation of the pack has been more like a redemption arc and a way of sharing my passion with others. But I’m not really in a position, where it is smart to hand stuff out for free.

So I’ve made the decision to use a pay-what-you-want-pricing for the pack, so that everyone can access it and feel the same passion I felt, regardless of their origin and job, by just downloading it for free; while I still get some money for the time I’ve spent on the pack. So far the community has been grateful and actually rewarded me with some money, which is awesome! Of course it’s only like 1% of all downloaders who pay anything, but that’s honestly already more than I’ve expected!

I’m perfectly fine if you just download it for free, but of course I’m very grateful to everyone who decides to financially support me and the project!

Currently the pack features over 40 different effects and I’m already working on a very big update which I hopefully will be able to release within the next few days, which will bring the amount of effects to a total of 95! You can already download a pre-release version of the update, which has most of the new effects that will release soon, which include node-groups for procedural fire, lightning bolts, grid with perspective tilt, pseudo pixelsort and some helpful nodes to unwanted clipping inside the compositor.

You can get it on Gumroad and Ko-Fi as pay-what-you-want/donationware and on Superhive where it has a fixed price tag of 15$ since it doesn’t really support pay-what-you-want-prcing, but some of that money there will go to the Blender Dev Fund!
Links can be found on the top of the post.

Have a nice day!
