I just wanted to try and learn some lighting techniques and so began yet another little project.
I quite like it but realise its a long way from being perfect.
I hope you like it. It has taught me loads more things I didn’t know about Blender.
Nice! For more realism I’d say you either need to remove/ put out the closest lamps. Or lighten the front of the ripper.
Thanks for the comments. I think I will probably do some more work on it just as soon as ive learnt how to do it 
This is my 3rd Blender render so I am still a newbie, and Blender is so complex any spare time I had should be spent reading about blender…but then I wouldn’t get a chance to mess around with it like this.
