this one is based on a drawing made by @ulyana.sanchenko of @hey.imjack … in this version/interpretation the girl eats a “special” brownie without realizing it until it starts to see things… it was hard to fill the gaps and imagine her 3d sculpt shape…

haha thanks! yeah the hair is still something that i dont fully feel comfortable doing, it’s always a mess at some point. Especially when you rotate a vertex in a curve and the entire curve starts pivoting and you lose all the work you did positioning it… And dont make me start about particle hair screams

I created a free account a few weeks ago, but the process of having to bake everything and even optimizing some models for the viewer made me pass on it, im currently focusing on just learning. I can just imagine trying to optimize her hair and baking the textures and it makes me say not now… i mean… doing all that work so i post it there and get a handful of likes at most… when in that same time i could be producing new models learnign new things… if i was a pro or building a portfolio it would make sense, but in my case, im not in that place yet.

Extremely well captured and expanded upon! The face is eerily accurate, with the eye reflections being the only thing directly setting them apart. Awesome!

Great work Pablo! Did you use procedural textures for the skin, or was this handpainted? If it was procedural, I’d love it if you could elaborate on what’s going on there.

skin was hand painted, but it has a very subtle generic seamless skin normal map texture spread among the entire model for the bump, but it is barely noticeable.
