Japanese bookstore

Hello everyone! This is my first topic here, and I decided to share with you my work, thay I created quite a while. It was that moment when I realised how powerful blender could be, and since than I’ve been completly fall in love with it.
This is my little “Japanese bookstore” .:sparkles:

Japan is one of my main source of inspiration. I also like to read books, so I decided to make my interpretation of the bookstore. The idea is that it has a small “bookcrossing” bookcase and you can leave a book in it or simply pick up any book and read.
It was completely made in blender including modeling and rendering.
If you like it check my other work here:

That’s really nice, I love such little dioramas. Have you considered posting it on Sketchfab too? (Full disclosure: I work there).

Thanks, i really appreciate it. Yes! It would be nice to post it on the sketchfab too, I’ll look into it soon hehe

Excellent job. The colors and modeling style are so cozy!

Can you help me out with the kanji on the right side? I’m able to make out 「本屋」(book-shop), and 「雑誌」(magazine), but the second line is just a bit too dense for me to recognize. (and my vocabulary is very limited. )

Thank you so much! The second line is 「印刷物」(printed matter) .

Super nice, with great attention to details, and lovely design. I can imagine some Playmobil figurines there…

What does the road sign means? It is not the kind we can see in France.

Oh, I realize it is in Japan, where cars go on the left of the road. So it is “no overtake”, right?

Thank you so much
I think that it’s “no overtake”, but honestly I’m not so sure, since I’ve never been to Japan yet and just used a bunch of street photos as references

Good work! Love the detail. I’m anticipating more!
