Absent any comments in the focused critiques forum, and given that I’ve now finished the remodelling, I’m calling this done. Let’s call it, all those IDE drives now redundant from a RAID array, or Just a Bunch of Disks.

The modeling and materials for the discs look pretty good. The wood on the table and the lighting are a little rough, however.
Was this rendered in Eevee? It would benefit a lot from just adding some bumps/gloss to the table surface, in my opinion.
Nice work though - I can’t think of a better use for all those old IDE drives. 
You’d be surprised at the amount of bump/normal map on that table. It’s more obvious in the test view.
EDIT: Damn - you were right. I don’t know when, but I’d turned specularity off. Updated the OP.
