what camera did you use ?
Nice, so real !
Thank youu!
For the backplate and HDRI I used a Nikon D5100
Very nice work.
What are the advantages of luxcorerender compared to cycles? Why did you choose it?
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
Thank youu!
Because cycles is paid and Lux is free, didn’t you know? Just kidding
I have chosen Lux because of its outstanding capabilities to create caustics effects. This a very characteristic lighting effect that especially shiny surfaces and refractive materials make. If you look closely around you caustics are everywhere.
Being said that, cycles, up to now, is incapable of doing this effect accurately. Lux makes this incredibly well and fast. I recommend you to check their gallery!
Thank you a looot Bart!!
