Jellyfish mermaid ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I’ve always really liked the idea of mermaids, so I wanted to create one in 3d 
Because I also think that jellyfish are really beautiful I decided to combine those ideas and to make a jellyfish mermaid. Colin Behrens had made a render of a jellyfish in the past so we used parts of his old model in this project.
I worked on the composition, lighting and played around with the materials a bit.
We made the character in Blender and Gimp.
It took us about 30h to complete.
The image was rendered with 2000 samples for 17h.
