After following this tutorial - Free Mini-Course for Blender | Pokémon Character! ; I was able to complete the tutorial and here is the result:
There are differences, though. I’d use Blender 2.78c, so, the result shown at the end of the video and my attempt of rendition varies.
My biggest struggles (and still are, tbh) were: making the “hair” and setting a good lightning.
