Nice work. How would you go about creating the textured finish of the handle the way it is in the reference?

From what I can gather and understand, you can do it using normal map. Either get similar texture online, or create a high poly version and then bake it.

Try not too sell yourself short!

I mean from someone that’s been modeling hard surface stuff for a very long time, looks pretty good to me with just proc shaders but if you’re interested in further exploring PBR texturing, then yes look into path traced rendering (cycles) plus UV unwrapping/ baking a high poly mesh or basically those workflows you’d shared upthread.
