Blender’s come a long way in my last six years using it. So have I.
I used to try to go for the most crazy scenes in blender:
But that was three years ago. I’ve gone, now, into more simple, mostly 2d styles. Minimalism is fun. and it looks cool. the next images are all made in Blender, 100%.
starting off easy
adding a curve
breaking into 3d
tiny bit of softbodies
waaaaay involved, but still in the realm of simple.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLL this chalks up to what is, in my mind, my most favorite, most recent simple work. it took about four hours total to get to look the way i wanted it to, and it’s just plain good. And once again, all blender.
I’m so proud of this.
And here’s the work behind it:
one layer
The other two
And the nodes involved.
I love it.
tell me what you think.
and post up some other simplistic stuff! it’s a good mental workout.
I’m hoping to get some work outside of videotaping the occasional wedding and breading chicken at Chick-Fil-A
ha, amen Brother. A great freelancer site: Scriptlance.com . It says its for programmers, dont be fooled. They’ve got graphic design jobs too(brochure, logo, flash, multimedia, everything), I’ve made about 60$ in the last week doing about 3 to 4 hours of work…
Haha, all my fast-food-cookin’ buddies are jealous…
