Keramé Gold Flaked Lipgloss

Been experimenting a whole lot more with real-life commercial lighting setups, and converting them to 3D scenes. For this scene I am using a two-light setup, with a large diffuse sheet inbetween them and the product. Added a reflector on the right side for fill in some of the shadows.

Splashes are downloaded assets. The golden, flaky material is all procedural. Had to do 2 different renders with different “exposures”. One main one, and one seperate one with a more toned down highlight. Post-processed in Photoshop, brushing up the contact shadow on the splash, enhancing the branding on the container and some simple dodge/burn work to get the last little bit of commercial feel.

I have included the two raw renders as well. It’s important to now look at finished product shots thinking everything should be done in the 3D scene. More often than not, just as much work is put into the post-production.

Hero render

Darker exposure for to mask away some of the clipping in the highlight.
