Well I meant you to test it in the “text editor”.
But forget about that right now. Your mouse is moving when you press the numblock keys. MacOS has an option for that. Turn that off. May thats conflicting with what keystrokes blender receives.

No you are misunderstanding me.
You have activated in your MacOS to control the mouse via numblock.
You can turn that off. Search for it the MacOS manual online.
