Complete noob here, beginning as everyone else with the multipart donut tutorial… But how can I make my MacBook Pro or MX Keys Bluetooth keyboard work with the keyboard commands…? F12 doesn’t mean “Render” on MX Keys, but instead “decrease volume”… And the tilde key, I have no clue where that is… How is this changed…? How do you guys work? I can’t be the only one…? ![]()
Dont you have to hold the control key while pressing the f keys on the mac or something like that? Or was it the fn key?
Thank you, that was it…
If wish I could solve the missing tilde-key problem, tilde seems to return in many keyboard shortcuts…
I deal with this on a Mac too. Usually, a keyboard will have an FN (Function) key that will invoke an alternate command for a key. Just like using Shift or Ctrl. When using a mac I use a program called Karibiner to remap my keys because I physically move them around to match what literally EVERY other OS expects. The other thing you can do with a Mac is to go to settings and make the F functions the primary functions for the top row keys.
I use a qwertz layout and tilde is hidden behind a alt gr shortcut so it is not usable. You might simply have to remap it in the preferences.
