KickDrive - Car Animation

This is a short animation I made with Blender. I’m not used to making vast environments like this, so it was a great challenge and learning experience to figure out how to make the surrounding world look endless.

It was also a great opportunity to apply actual physics to a moving 3D car - Something I had never done before because I usually just animate everything by hand in agony. The car model is from the Transportation addon for Blender and it was rigged using Car-Rig Pro.

This was also my first time editing and compositing a project in DaVinci Resolve - It’s still taking some getting used to, but I can certainly see why the software gets so much hype. The workflow was really smooth, so I’m convinced to try using it in future projects!
