Kooki Kombi Minitruck

This is a project I recently did for a competition, Starting from a scan of an IZH 2715 that I found on sketchfab, I then proceded to model this from scratch, keeping in mind the American minitruckin scene and trying to give the feel of a car that was imported and then modified with local parts.

Modelled in Blender, Rendered in Cycles and Composited in Photoshop

And the obligatory mesh pictures

and some more detail shots for good luck

Love the car paint shader. The detail is quite amazing.

Wow that is insanely good modeling and perfect shading all around! Great weld beads! Not often you see that done right.

Looks great! The only thing that stood out to me as missing (and barely worth mentioning) was the raised/embossed part number typically found on the front glass of a headlight.

What a labor of love. Simply amazing project dude. The attention to detail is incredible and really inspiring, makes me want to try harder.

Cheers, I didn’t actually do the the part numbers and branding simply down to time, deadline was looming and I was already running out of Vram, if you’re wondering why I wouldnt include them in the texture, the headlights are actually modelled with no textures on them.
