Hi there, I’m Pablo (PablonchoWorks) from Uruguay.
I’d like to share my latest personal project.
A fan art of Kurt Cobain, the late frontman of Nirvana.
Such an amazing band from the ’90s, with a sound that really influenced and inspired me back in my teenage years.
Most of the modeling was done in Blender, the fine sculpt and stylized look of Kurt in ZBrush, texturing in Substance Painter, and a bit of contrast and color grading in DaVinci Resolve.
It’s basically a fan art piece, with a cartoony style and materials, textures, and colors reminiscent of Kurt’s typical outfits.
I really enjoyed making it and even got back into listening to some Nirvana while working on it.
All renders were done in Cycles.
