I wanted to use L-System, so I downloaded the .blend. I click on the file and it opens up. I change nothing, but when I press ALT-P I get a message saying ‘Python Script Error: check console’. Being a Pythonic Noob, I can’t find the console.
What should I do? And is there isn’t a better way to make trees?
I’m running Blender 2.48, and I’m sure I have PYTHON installed, as I’ve run other scripts.
I downloaded it from here, which was the site i was pointed to.
hi, ok, go here: Wizards Menu Toolkit.
Download the pack.
A newer version by the same author is provided in .blend format.
There are also extra texture s included.
Any probs, just ask.
Do you still get the error with 2.49a?
When you open Blender does the console say that Python was found?
In your User Preferences, there is a default Python Scripts path, check that this points to the location of your Python Scripts.(If you have more than one version of Blender you will have more than one .blender/scripts location)
