I was preparing a character for my demoreel of this year and I found very useful the laplacian modifier to change the proportions of a generic hand for my character. Check out the reference below. I love the result.

That is sweet. I have been keeping an eye out for Laplacian Deform work…still trying to figure out the best way to leverage it.
