Large rounded bevel - how to

How do I do a fairly rounded bevel of the main face of this heart please? Bevel just doesn’t seem to be working.

You need to make a “guide” shape to target the bevel:

“sale and choose cente”

I meant “scale and choose center”!

@DNorman, thanks for that, sorry bit of a newbie here, Im stuck at Scale and choose Centre. Ive done the inset top face but have no idea how to get to Scale and Choose centre.

I think he just means scale it down and then move that downscaled face to wherever you want the center to be.

Ohhh, dont know what ive done wrong other than guessing its something to do with all the vertices or something bit I’ve got lots of horrible ridges - would the smooth modifier get rid of these?

Aha think ive found it - I need to have Limited Method in the Bevel modifier set to Angle

I used a bevel in edit mode “CTRL B” (not the bevel modifier) and only beveled one edgeloop

I am not sure if this will work well with the solidify and bevel modifier.
