Larva

Most deservedly here. The render tells so much about the author of this fine piece.

Iā€™d ask you to give yourself a pat on the back, but that would only hinder such progress you made! Keep up the good work.

Unfortunately I finished fourth in the contest, what a shameā€¦

Excellent work. Thereā€™s a great amount of detail in there and I like the colors that youā€™ve used. The long hours that youā€™ve spent on this one definitely paid off. Thanks for sharing.

Congrats Larva! good work WIP.

Thanks for the sharing with usā€¦

Very, very nice. I like how it shows the ā€œcreatureā€ as if another one was looking at it.

looks great!.. and gross xD

Havenā€™t been around for a while and then I return and see thisā€¦ man it really really REALLY AWESOME!
The details on the blister and all, man, simply genious!

did you make the smoke with the smoke simulator or did you photoshop it in? ^^

Insane! Now animate the thing!

mistermaster - I used smoke texture and add it in Blender composite nodes. No smoke simulations were involved.

majawe6 - thanks, but itā€™s a bit too heavy model I guess.

Great modelling and texturing. Love your cartoonish style.

You should totally submit this to http://www.3dtotal.com/ and http://forums.cgsociety.org/
This is a great example of what an artist using Blender is able to do.Spread it !
