I was wondering, is it possible to perform a lasso select by pressing ctrl + shift + LMB drag? I can get the lasso select interface, but it does not actually perform a selection. Here’s the setup:
I think it would be nice if it works out, given how easy it is to use lasso mask in the sculpt worspace with the same keymap.
I guess “Set Tool By Name” is the wrong function for sculpt mode. Maybe it tries to do thinks that are not possible in sculpt mode.
Try this, for me it works:

Ok, but i cant see where a difference between the “lasso select” version are.
I guess lasso select is not working cause sculpting needs a mask. Normal selection are not working cause they don’t create a mask, afaik.
