The challenge of this project was to push the details on all the objects to the maximum and to build set dresses. In modeling, I wanted to learn how to master the BoxCutter addon. Then, I did retopology, cleaned up the objects, unwrapped the UVs with Blender and Rizom, and textured with Painter. Finally, I created my set dresses in Blender and used the Coordiknight addon to import them into Unreal 5 (I couldn’t optimize Cycles well enough). Then I learn/discover Unreal5, did my layout, lighting, and edited my video with the VSE. It’s a raw render because I don’t know how to do compositing. As for the story, it was really just an excuse to do a lot of modeling, rather than a deep reflection on the meaning of life. Just to many things for a banana.
Nice job!
If you render in Unreal, there shouldn’t be much need for compositing, as Unreal already comes with a bunch of compositing by default.
Lots of great stuff here. Nice modelling, texturing, lighting, and composition on the individual shots are all great.
Oh no… the last banana already has brown spots!
Thanks ! Yes, I tried to get the most out of Unreal Engine 5, but I have some friends who do compositing, and I think they could have really improved certain parts.
Thank you for your appreciation :). I’m glad if you like it.
Really great work ! I like the details and the cinematic quality of many shots ! Well done !
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
I think if you had added a few details, this would be better and more engaging…
…just kidding. Wow! what a vibe! What an impressive set-up for a “product-placement” banana delivery !!!
Thanks for sharing this!
Thank you ! You found the right words to capture the depth of this project.
Thank you very much for selecting this project
