Last format options in image save are missing in 4.1

Hi
In 4.1 I have to choose the format and all the other options every damn time I’m saving a render.
And when I’m testing things this happens very frequently, like about 2 times a minute.

Why did they change this perfectly working “automatic last format setup” thing? Why?

Could somebody please tell me if there’s a way to change back to the old behavior (beside going back to 4.0)?

This drives me mad.

No such thing.

This is one annoying thing that exists in Blender for a very long time. It uses the format set as render output.
