Hmm… showing this on only one object doesn’t make me feel impressed… ( …because a simple duplicate modifer and moving it does this too ?? 
)… so:
Does this also remember the last added modifier if you switch to another object ?

Yes, the addon will remember the last added modifier if you switch to another object or open a new project.
