Latest Short Film, Eros

Hi! I have been visiting and being inspired by this forum for ages, and now I finally decided to register and post something of my own : )

So here here goes! This is my latest, and first truly personal, short film, Eros. It took nine months to make (about the same time it takes to make a human) and is currently my favorite, since it follows a more emotionally-driven story than I usually make. The film is about a lonely greek statue who discovers both love and juggling on an ancient beach. Here is the link:

I’m curious to know what you think of it.

VERY nice work - I like the idea/story and atmosphere  . great great and great

Really cool, great atmosphere and the music worked perfect with it. It kind of reminded me of the movie mirrormask, was that a source of inspiration for the project?

very nice!

Thank you! I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to receive kind words from talented artists : )

@Postmodern_Boy No, I had never heard of MirrorMask (but, judging from its Wikipedia article, it looks fascinating!). The inspiration for this movie came from many different things; I explain some of them in this video podcast:

Now I need to think of an inspiration for my next film, whatever it turns out to be…

Nice, Nice!!!
Loved the story!
Animation still needs to be refined and perhaps a litle more atmosphere … just tips for your next work
