Would anybody help to explain WHY this happens?
All transform.applied prior to LATTICE but just after assigning Lattice this happens:

I guess this is a bug. Can somebody confirm this, i would make a bug report then.
As workaround you can set lattice resolution U to 1, then increase again and scale up without apply scale to the lattice.
