Hello everyone, Its been a while since I’ve posted any new art here, but I finally finished the creature model I’ve been working on for a long time and figured I’d share it here with you guys first. I’ve been experimenting with using ZBrush in coordination with Blender and I’ve been pretty happy with it so far. I modeled the base meshes in Blender and then sculpted the finer details with ZBrush.
Anyways, this guy is supposed to be a stealthy alien hunter who is capable of quickly lunging at his enemies and grabbing them with his large upper claws without them ever being aware of any danger. I tried to make him look like somewhat of a veteran to combat by adding some battle damage to his chitin and skin.

I do plan on putting textures on it eventually, but after spending so much time on the modeling, I wanted to show it off. Hope you guys like it!
But you could present him in this thread a lot better. That image in the first post is zoomed in too much, you dont get to see the rest of him and i personally dont like the perspective or angle of that image. Your selling yourself short!
Also the broken pipe between his legs looks out of place.
But overall id be very proud of myself! A very complex and nicely finished model.
My only crit on this piece is that the Tentacles on the face just look ‘blah’ compared to the rest of the over all body. Kind of like it is missing some texture…
