Learning UV stuff

Thanks for the site fligh. I followed it carefully, but . . .

I still must have done something wrong because when I load my image
anywhere nothing shows up. It says it’s loaded but there’s nothing there.

Let me get this straight, try to figure this out.

1.Start pixia.
2.Create a canvas.
3.Add a second layer (LAYER1)
4.With second layer highlighted, click the red T with the slash through it to make the background transparent.
5.Highlight first layer and fill it with color.
6.Highlight second layer and draw (paste) symbol.

I followed these steps. No more, no less.

Perhaps it has something to do with the colors used?
I notice that in the toolbox, there are four numbers, each when clicked give a selection of colors. Do the numbered selection of colors have any significance?

Or perhaps is it the way I’m saving it?

When I save it, I make the file type .png. When I click save, a message is displayed saying that files other than .pxa do not share information such as transparency or layers, and asks if I want to save it as .png. When I click yes, two options are displayed. One asking if I want to save as interlaced .png and one asking if I want to save transparency information. I put a check in both boxes. (If you haven’t noticed yet I’m a bit computer illiterate).

Anyway, nothings showing up when I load the picture in blender.
