Left Click Select No Longer Working

Somewhere along the way my Left Click select just stopped working. I’ve reset my keymap to default, rolled back to older versions of 2.80, but it just won’t work. I’ve been using Left Click select from day 1 with 2.80 with no problems and just in the last day it suddenly stopped working. Right Click select works if I change to that.

This is happening in object and edit modes.

Thanks, but will this wipe everything including installed addons/startup .blend/etc? Or should I just delete the userprefs file?

Edit: Just moved the userprefs file out of config folder, and it reverted to a random earlier state where I first started to mess around with custom hotkeys. Left Click select is working again but Loop Select is now broken?
