Hey, I love it! It looks so realistic, like a lego photography.
Can you explain how you managed to make realistic reflections and lighting? What is the secret of this scene? How many sources of lightning do you use and did you use an HDRI?
Thanks, Nicholas!
I did not use an HDRi. Here are the light sources I added:
-There is a large area light coming in from the left as the key light.
-There are 9 smaller area lights above the entire scene in a square array.
-There is a area light behind the main character as a slight rim light.
The secret to a realistic-lighted scene is not relying on light bounces alone. I often add rim and bounce lights to simulate real-world lighting conditions, such as the light bounces you see off light-colored pavement.
Another secret is practice. Understanding how light works in real life and learning how to integrate that in a 3D workspace is essential to realism.
Thank you! I appreciate your answer. I will keep it in mind. This picture is really good for desktop wallpaper. Can I ask you to share some screenshots of the scene in the viewport? Learning from masters is the best way to learn

Really nice render! Is the background a plate, or is it all there in geometry?
Wow! Fantastic work!
It’s all geometry.
Thank you!
Thank you very much bro!
No problem! If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to let me know!
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
Wow, this is awesome!
You definitely matched the scene!
Thank you so much!
Sorry to be “that guy”, but why are the troopers clones?
They were the models that best fit the aesthetic of the troopers from the series. In an hour of decision, I chose looks over staying close to canon
