Lego Riverside City

A pedestrian area in a Mediterranean-looking city, built with digital Lego on a 32x32 baseplate and illuminated.

The parts were assembled in LeoCAD, the LDR file imported into Mecabricks and exported from there as OBJ. I found that exporting from LeoCAD to OBJ directly resulted in a worse optic, because there often was no distinguishable border between tiles, for example.

I found that having no SSS significantly improved the look of the scene, even though real LED lights would shine through the bricks.

Finally done, with a little bit of glare added.
