For some or other reason, I cannot adjust the value slider when trying to change the colour of the lights in my scene.
Any one else have this issue?
It is disabled or not working?
cycles node light?
Can you post a screenshot?
The value slider in colour properties highlighted does not work.
The node section colour value slider does work.
Any idea what could be causing this?
I feel like your interface is very different. What version do you use? Might be a newer version I’m not familiar with but I thought it was some kind of add-on.
That color field is not a value slider. If you click on it, it should pop up a colour picker.
Though yeah, your interface also looks slightly different, as @Minamookevlar noticed. In 3.1 I don’t have those stop adjustments for my point lights. Still, unless you’re using an add-on that makes that color field into a slider, this is default behaviour.
When you click on it, no color picker shows up? Like a circular rainbow?
BTW, old add-ons used in newer versions might not work.
You are using Photographer, I’ll look into you issue but please reach out and send me a scene to help me understand the problem. Please provide as much information as possible: add-on version, blender version, etc…
In the meantime, you can display Blender’s Light UI alonside the Photographer Physical Light panel from the add-on preferences:
Use this one and let me know if it works.
EDIT: At first glance, the add-on is not the issue since you can’t change the color value in the Nodes panel either. Looks like some global UI issue on your end. You can try to disable Photographer from the preferences to make sure it’s not the culprit. And make sure to use a released version of Blender and not a test build.
