Lighting affecting only the specular map

I have a character with all the necessary maps applied, epidermal, subdermal, diffuse, bump, normal, specular.

However, how do I make the lighting affect only the specular map, without affecting other maps brightness ?

More shinny less shinny but affecting only the specular map.

Thank you for any help. Appreciated for any help / direction.

It depends upon what render system you are using but with Blender internal light, by default, affects diffuse and specular channels. There are checkboxes for this under the Lamp data context. Simply turn off the Diffuse checkbox and the light will only contribute to the specular channel.

Hi Atom,

I ended creating another light only with the spec on.
Thanks mate. Appreciated.
