link an empty to an armature(never mind)

hey… I have a toy soldier I am animating but I used an empty to map the eyes and mouth (easiest way). The problem is that the empty does not seem to want to follow the armature. I parented the empty to the mesh but this has no effect. Is there a way to attach the empty to the armature???

Duh… I parented the empty to the nearest bone… works now… %|
