A small project before the holidays!
I wanted to do another take on Link and this time use a stylized look. It’s mainly inspired by the artwork from the Japanese Famicom manual for the original Legend of Zelda game.
I used Blender for modelling and the Rigify addon to rig and pose him, it worked really well even with automatic skin weights. Sculpting in Zbrush. Textured in Substance 3D Painter. Renders from Unreal Engine with some handpainted effects in Photoshop afterwards in some images.
