linking objects (with out proxy)?

a week ago hi posted a thread about animating a cart full of lamps ( someone told me to use the game engine and record the physics.
i’ve tested this and think this will work but now i’ve stumbeld against a new problem. I’m making a movie and there for want to link my bulbs in my scene. the problem is that linked object can’t be moved. is there a way to get around that without using proxys?

the second question is. that the mesh of my bulb is quiet complicated and that my pc takes al very long time to calculate the pysics. is they a way to let the pysics be calculated by a more simple mesh and the replace it by my final mesh for rendering
