Yeah, indeed but he played a lot in mainly French films and I always considered him French like many other people from France of his time, he is still Italian for sure :wink:

Understandable

Back in those days there where a lot of middle european actors playing “everwhere” and “all over” even speaking the local language (at least for the movie) 
and a lot of X-Y-Z copoductions where mutliple countries where involved
 and a lot of actors not really well know nin their own country but famous in others
 (also applies for singers).

Ah, yes, but he worked a lot also in Italy. :slight_smile: Lino Ventura was very famous here in Italy too.

AngioLino (Giuseppe Pasquale) Ventura – one of the most popular actors of French cinema

He spoke French without any accent (excepting a Parisian one at the beginning of his career) and spoke Italian with a slight French accent, having arrived in France at the age of seven.

Juste une remarque personnelles, mais elle n’apportera peut-ĂȘtre : je suis aller re-vĂ©rifier pour ĂȘtre certain : la maniĂšre de “finir” le regard a Ă©tĂ© diverse pour les sculpteur et, en effet, “ajourer” l’iris est une modalitĂ©, mais il semble y en avoir d’autres : je me permets de poster une image. FĂ©licitations Ă  vous.

Merci et DĂ©solĂ© de rĂ©pondre si tardivement, en effet l’usage du sculpt des iris dĂ©pend de la profondeur du regard que l’on veut donner, Ă  chacun sa perception. Encore merci :wink:
