Linux Create Runtime and 234

I know this question has been asked time and again for previous versions of Blender, but why can’t I create a standalone BIN from Linux? It just tells me that it can’t find a runtime?

According to the release notes, this feature was supposed to be restored… so whats the deal?

I tried looking at the 2.34 application files and couldn’t find any blender player file like there was in 225. Has anyone used this successfully yet in Linux?

Someone forgot to pack the BlenderPlayer bin with the 2.34 release for linux and therefore it can’t make stand alones (since it can’t package in the player). Should be fix in an up coming bugfix release (I guess).
