List of addons that work with 2.8

I’ve seen it, but it’s quite different. Blender depot pulls info automatically from Github whereas blender addons is hand-made and has options to categorize and leave comments.

Here the focus of blender-addons:

  • Only for Blender 2.80 and higher
  • Only working addons
  • You can filter on categories, tags (and also search).
  • Personally checked the addons and tried it out. Finding the culprit the user might stumble upon, and point that out.

But thanks for mentioning.

Sounds great, I’ll keep an eye on it!

Does it also have an RSS / ATOM feed? That’d be great.

Good Idea. I’ve seen an option for RSS-feed I believe. I will enable it as soon as I get the change.

This list is great, thanks so much for putting this together!

Though, I really wish we could just have an integrated addon manager or something where creators could upload all in one place that would update automatically as creators update their addons, install correctly automatically, and sync between different computers (via a profile or something).

I don’t wish to discuss this here, I made a RCS post about it. Comment and upvote or whatever there:

Version PRO of the addon will be a little expensive.

But we made a decision do not remove LITE (older) version. This LITE version can be access for purchasing. (in moderating right now)

We would be very grateful to You, if You to tell Your’s friends about this addon. It is will be be like a motivation for us.

Floating Windows is up and running on Gumroad and will be tomorrow on the blender market.

for 2.8 and winOS only, this addon give you the possibility of having windows always on top like any other software, customizing them and a lot more related useful operators.

i also edited the main post, i don’t know if i was allowed to do so, sorry if i was’nt

@Penguinburger1 I would love to implement a proper add-on management system in Blender Depot (a platform I recently built) as I see this as a really important facet towards the growing development community.

Users would be able to browse and batch install add-ons in Blender (which Blender Depot currently handles), but on top of that, also auto update the add-ons to the latest version as the developer releases an update on the platform.

Although the costs of managing this would be difficult, we can possibly start in a small scale and see how users feel about it.
I would love to know the thoughts of other users and developers.

Hi, I have ported the Propeller Addon to 2.80, I’m not the creator, the author is Alain PORET, I created an icon for the addon but I don’t know how insert the code for the icon, perhaps someone can help with this. (19.9 KB)
Helice (1.2 KB)

I corrected links, descriptions and typos for Principled Baker and Rigify for MB-Lab.
I added new add-on Empty to Image Plane.

I added new add-on Eevee Presets.

Not sure if it does anything special, But 2.8 has window>new window which can be used as floating workspace.
Just use OS specific “always on top” on that window and make the 3d view only by pressing ctrl+space in 3d view

Hello. My addons support 2.8 as well. Would you like to add them to the list? Thank you!

Advanced UI Menus
I just updated my addon to add a blender 2.8 version.
It provides context sensitive menus, user customizable menus, a floating collection manager, and various other UI/UX elements to make your workflow easy and fast.

I finally managed to get the particle hair updates running too:

But in which category should I add it?

Thanks for the addon, updates, notifications, etc.
It seems to me that Modeling - Organic could be a good category, or?

Hi guy’s,

Can someone tell me where in the menu the addon can be reach because there is nothing in sidebar since he mention location is sidebar/edit.

Someone told me to use shift +S but this bring the origin pie menu in RC 3 so is there a secret trick to find it?
