I’ve got another WIP thread where I’m building a little bike. In this thread I’ll build the little bicyclist. When I started this project I had a silly thought about entering the BG Character contest. I think that opportunity has very nearly passed, but for the next few days I’m going to bang out as much of this thing as I can.
Firstly, my workflow is nearly as ADD as I am. I’ve used a DAZ model to render out viewport reference images, and then extrude in the quadview to to roughly fill in the shape. I do lots of pushing things around with proportional editing, then the sculpt tools to fine tune the rough form, and smooth. I’m slow because I really don’t have a method. I know what good topology looks like, and I just keep cutting, and dissolving till I see it.
