Hi I don’t understand lighting in cycles and I need help with this project. I want to achieve greater realism.

Yea, lighting can be very difficult, but the way I think of it is: how and where the light come from? (angle, how big the light source) what time is it? (how strong the lighting are) sunset, morning, noon and etc. what kind of mood you want to convey (color). you might want to look up post compositing to enhance your lighting after you are done with the scene.
Not only the lighting,but also the sofas’ edges where you need to modify for realism.
How can I modify them?
