Loading referance pictures in Blender

So how you load those pictures in Blender

Hello

In the toolbar, in the View menu, choose Background image
A panel will appear
Press the Use background images and browse to serach the desired image
With blend slider you control the transparence
With the size the…size of course and offset buttons will place it
whatever you want on the screen

I did this recently but was unable to see my background image unless I viewed the model through a camera. Do you know what I did wrong? That makes it very difficult to model…

Other than in camera, background images will only show in front, side, top views (Numpad 1, 3, 7 and their CTRL- counterpart) with Ortograhic on (numpad 5).
