Is it possible to freeze the length of an edge while moving a vertex in Edit mode? I want to be able to change the shape of an object without distorting a UV map that I’ve already applied to it.
As far as I know it’s not yet accessible to leave the length of an edge in lock position. Even if that could happen any movement through space would alter the UV map.
To move the vertex at one end of an edge without changing the length of the edge, just rotate it around the vertex at the other end.
If UV mapping isn’t a pain in the ass, you’re doing it wrong. good luck.
