Here’s my latest project. I created a ‘master render’ for Logitech’s premium mouse, the MX Master 2S. Here’s the breakdown of the project. Modelled, textured and rendered in Blender. Retouching in Photoshop. Can’t express how much I learnt from doing this project. The biggest challenge was matching the render to their already super clean library of products. Happy with the outcome though.
The text is a little small and might be hard to read as I made this for my Behance. In the process of moving my portfolio onto there and would love to make some new connections.
Big upgrade from my old Logi M705 mouse. Has a nice texture to it and looks good on my desk. The only downside is I’d rather have a replaceable battery instead of having to plug it in to charge. But the charge lasts a very long time and I haven’t had the mouse die on me yet.
Ah yeah my friend used to have that mouse. I must admit, the MX Master is a good looking mouse. I do normally prefer a wired mouse just because I can never be bothered to charge/replace batteries. But maybe it’s time for a change
I have the first gen mx master, and it is pretty nice.
My only beef with it is the button under the polygonal textured thumb pad is hard to press, which leads me to not use it much. the search button next to left click on the mx620 was perfect to map to ‘enter’, Whenever a dialog box popped up, I could just mash that and not even need to move my cursor.
The internal battery genuinely lasts for a month of use for me, plus since it’s usb rechargable, it just turns into a wired mouse for the hour or so it takes to charge, and you can just keep using it.
