Looking for Blender 3D Modeling artist

BombayCat Films is a full-service video and tech production company based out of Ahmedabad & Mumbai, carter its services pan India. We are incubated at NDBI, National Institute of Design (NID) Campus, Ahmedabad.

We work on traditional as well as upcoming technologies such as Virtual reality and Augmented reality to build a creative and customized solution.

We are looking for 3D Modeling Artist to join us.

SUMMARY: A 3D Artist at BombayCat Films should have experience in modeling, texturing, and animating characters and assets in a stylized world. A 3D Artist should have a solid grasp of form, color, and light for both 2D and 3D art assets is essential. The 3D Artist will work across all aspects of a game’s visual design, UI, art, animation, metaverse and more. The 3D Artist will create visually simulating content that will enhance game playability and showcase original experiences to a wide player audience.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Collaborating effectively with a team of artists and programmers to offer creative solutions to both art and game design challenges.
Producing concept sketches and quick edits to communicate artistic concepts with the team.
Creating high-quality 3D and 2D assets to meet fast-paced deadlines.
Organizing and implementing assets in the Unity 3D game engine and Unreal game engine.

2+ years of industry experience.
Proficient using Blender to create and animate fun and stylizes characters and assets.
Skills in level assembly and asset creation tasks including lighting, layout and modelling.
Experience in Unity3D game engine and Unreal game engine (importing assets, animation editor, native particle system)
Passion for real-time rendering and photorealism. Experience receiving constructive criticism.
Experience in fast paced VFX, animation or video production studio.
Strong understanding of the 3D production process.
Innovate and implement solutions with unique 3D renders and concepts.
Create fixture & concept briefs to be handed off to agency partners.
Ability to work with a small team and take direction when needed, but also to work independently.
Solid organization skills, adhering to protocols such as file structures, naming conventions, and other established guidelines.
Ability to be in person to review fixture materials and prototypes.
Strong understanding of Material finishes and innovations.
Understanding of animation principles and foundations.
Experience in Photoshop and substance.
Optimizing the model as well as textures to make it work smoothly on Unity or Unreal.

Preferred Requirements:
Art degree (Associates or Bachelors).
Understanding of the visual style and gameplay of top tier slot games.
Demonstrated experience locating and resolving content and asset performance bottlenecks through investigation and content optimization.
Knowledge of Visual Scripting on Unreal and Unity & C++ and C# an advantage.
Mentor existing 3D designers.
Experience and ability to sculpt stylized assets or characters in Zbrush.

Online art portfolio (Required at the time of application) - This can be work-related or personal projects outside of work-related activities


i appologise but the job title should be a 3d generalist not modeling while you asking for a superman that can do everything + knowing how to code
