Looking for Blender Character Animators - Whispers of the Solver (Murder Drones Fan Episode)
Hi everyone!
I’m currently looking for 1-3 Blender character animators to help bring an ambitious Murder Drones fan episode to life.
Trailer: https://youtu.be/wuzOnnboZ2A?si=A0fpc4lPOns7PrW8
The trailer gives a good idea of the visual quality and direction I’m aiming for throughout the project.
Whispers of the Solver has been in production for quite a while now. I’m handling most aspects of the project myself, including direction, writing, modeling, rigging, layouts, editing, and more. Animation is currently the main production bottleneck, so I’m looking for a few people who’d enjoy helping bring the episode to completion.
What I’m looking for
-
Comfortable with Blender character animation.
-
Able to produce natural, expressive body animation.
-
Willing to communicate and receive shot-specific feedback.
-
Able to communicate regularly and make steady progress on assigned shots whenever your schedule allows.
Most assigned shots already include finished layouts, camera work, and initial character blocking, so you’ll mainly be focusing on bringing the animation to life.
Important
-
This is currently an unpaid, volunteer project. I completely understand if that’s a dealbreaker.
-
I’m looking for people who enjoy animation and would like to contribute to a serious, high-quality community project.
-
All contributors will receive full credit for their work.
Confidentiality
Since the episode hasn’t been released yet, production files will only be shared with selected collaborators. I’ll ask everyone working on the project to keep all assets, scenes, and story details private.
Interested?
Please send the following to ghaluxprod@gmail.com:
-
Examples of your animation work (demo reel, YouTube, portfolio, etc.)
-
Roughly how much free time you usually have.
Even if you can only help with a handful of shots, it could make a real difference to the project.
Thanks for reading!
