Looking for constructive criticism with my face topology

I’m looking for pointer on my face topology. After researching poles, I cleaned it up pretty nicely and this is what I have presently. I am aware that the ear area is a bit of a disaster but from what I gathered, that isn’t so bad because it doesn’t deform.

Of particular interest to me is the 5-pole near the eye and cheekbone, the nose-eye connection, and the large number of quads under the nose, but anything else you have for me is appreciated.

General mesh layout is ok; loop around the mouth and eye. It is the standard topology.

How far you might want to modify this topology depends on just how far you want to take it. Do you think you can make a face like this with your topology?

As a starter, to make this face, you will need more mesh definition on your forehead.

The other thing that bugs me with standard topology is that topology does not reflect how muscle that pulls the lip loop is not well defined. Upper lip pulling muscle attaches to the cheekbones you know:

Pay careful attention to how people speak. Most facial movement during speech is below the cheekbone. Some people when they talk contract the muscle that runs side of nose. That will move the nose slightly as they speak. None of the topology I have seen has this feature.

I made a quick layout of face topology study with “hard cheek line” with muscle line down the side of nose:

Thanks. I will keep this in mind.
