So I’m looking to buy a new nvidia GPU that works well with cycles, has sli support and is under 300$. Thanks for the help.

Have a look at the GTX600 series, or if you can find one for a nice price, a GTX570, which is faster at cycles rendering - surprising for an older card, but they changed it slightly - better for games, worse for rendering…
Although saying that, I’m currently looking at the 2GB GTX680, if I can find one for a nice price of course…
Remember, the GB of the card is important, as all the scene has to fit into the VRAM amount, so larger / detailed scenes will need bigger cards (or SLI cards together maybe), where as you need to have a good amount of cuda cores for the rendering - although most 500 series have about 960, whereas the 600 series have 1344 cores…
Think there was a site somewhere with a benchmark test that was carried out earlier this year, with various GPU renders versus CPU renders, with the different cards etc…I’ll have a look.,…
And here is the Benchmark Site
Thanks for the help.
