For some reason, whenever I now use a loop cut and slide, as soon as I click to place the loop, around 0.5 seconds later it will lock in that place regardless of whether I have clicked again or not. This has only happened recently.
I thought it might have something to do with vertex snapping or proportional editing but they are turned off. It is not local to the current file I’m using either it does it on all of them so it is not the model. I restarted my computer and blender with no difference.
It allows me to place the loop but not slide it. I can quickly slide the loop within the short span before it locks but I can’t be doing that for the rest of my modelling career with no precision. Please tell me I have some stupid option/mode running. Cheers in advance.
